Well, it wasn’t my most stellar semester at all – it seemed like I had to swim upstream the entire semester – one flu into the next – always feeling sick for test days – I’m glad I’m through it and hopefully will not have to repeat it next year, I pray we don’t get swine flu here – it was enough to battle the regular flu we had going around & around & around. I’ve passed my courses, got my medical school pre-req’s completed and I am PROUD of my overall accomplishments as a whole (which includes 2 awards and 2 inductions into honor societies). Next stop: MCAT. I love the fact that I get to prove myself in my MCAT exam – which is scheduled for mid-July. I’m enrolled in an MCAT prep course and I know it’s going to help me a lot since it is (in the least) helping me focus on what to study from the vast array of information I’ve learned over the last couple of years.
I’ve recently purchased a little (cute) HP Netbook (mini 100 model I think it is) – and I’ve gotten my AT&T wireless on the go Sierra modem too so I can (and do) take the internet all over with me now in a manner that makes it more conducive to doing my course online. Yes, I have the iPhone – but it’s not easy (and it burns up battery time fast) to log into these sites and watch the videos and such. I do love my iPhone for many other things – including the brand new iFlash application that was just launched – which puts my own personally made study cards on my phone to go – that is going to be really awesome through medical school for sure.
So while it seems like I should be “off” and having a fun summer – as you can see I’m still extremely busy with studying complicated material. There’s also the other aspects of my life that have also kicked high into gear as well. Work for one - Cheap Shots is growing steadily and has been taking a lot of time to help it along – so many new marketing strategies have been implemented and guess what – they seem to be working too – Cheap Shots is growing strong, which pleases me immensely.
As for other aspects in life – Fish & Wildlife has a new inspector who came and inspected us last week, while our cages were passing of inspection – he asked for certain changes – which are understandable – and we are now implementing those as well – nothing too outrageous – but it does take physical labor to accomplish – needless to say – running from Orlando to Sebring in between work and putting in a lot of physical labor in the sunshine and heat of Florida has been something in need of endurance – and we have just that , endurance due to the fact that we get to look at the faces of the “kids” (serval, lynx, bobcat, cougar, jungle cat) and that makes it all worth our efforts and then some. We’re so blessed!
In conclusion, life is awesome and I am fully enjoying it. I’m hoping that this message meets my readers with a smile – because it’s sent with one.
The last thing I wanted to say was: Go Magic – You Rock and you just have one more game to knock out Celtics, you can do it!!!
