I must say I was “supposed” to be studying for my finals – after I got in from my review session for physics final tonight the game was tied in the 3rd and then Magic started scoring like they wanted to win and in the end it was down to the wire and needless to say my eyes were glued to the TV watching Hedo make the last 3 pointer ending the game with a WIN! Go Magic – You Rock!! Back to studying now…

Tonight is game one of the playoffs and it’s SOOOO exciting – It’s nice to be a part of the winning team – Magic have done an awesome job this season and that brings a lot of good things to Florida and Orlando – so nice to be there to see this all happen – GO MAGIC, They rock!

Well today was exam 3 for genetics and I’m glad I’m over that hurdle! Not a clue how I did – hopefully better than the other exams – at least there wasn’t ONE calculation on this test!!! The schedule is somewhat grueling at the moment with all the last of the midterm exams, projects and finals around the corner and of course I’ve compounded the problem by taking on the Kaplan MCAT study course too – which keeps me on campus Tues & Thurs till 9! (It’s from 6 – 9 with one 5 min break halfway thru it) It’s brutal, and the material we are covering is, well – you know, the hard core coursework tested on the MCAT – so we did Chem 2 tonight – it was exhausting on top of the genetics exam today. I’m doing my best to complete the semester with as high grades as possible – but it’s tough for sure – I will have 3 finals the last week of the month, Tues, Wed & Thurs. In a way I’m looking forward to the end of the semester but then again – that just means I get to ramp up MCAT prepping – so not much of a break there – just a change and well – a change will be welcomed because it will denote progress at least. Moving progressively forward toward your goal is always very nice.

I guess I’ve been too busy to pay attention and realize that next year when I graduate I will be graduating UCF together with my youngest child and we will walk hand-in-hand to get our diplomas. Then I will be off to medical school and he will be off to law school, that’s a pretty awesome accomplishment! Yes we’re going to have a fun time next spring that’s for sure, I’m really looking forward to it!!
