Physics and Me

Friday, March 27th, 2009

Well yesterday was exam 2 for Physics II, and it went better than any other physics test has this far. I worked hard at learning Lenz’s law so I could work my problems. Crossing my fingers that I did as well as I felt I did when I left. I will be one happy puppy if I did! I suppose in a couple of weeks we’ll get our scores back – by then I’ll be preparing for my third Genetics exam. Argh it never ends!

Back To The Grind…

Monday, March 16th, 2009

I didn’t realize how badly I needed the rest (even though I still worked) from school. The break was well enjoyed and I feel more rejuvenated. It was nice to get to Epcot and the two Magic games (they kicked butt on the Bulls & Jazz) – so while I didn’t go away – I still had fun. Back to work hard and fast as my Kaplan MCAT Prep Course starts up this week. My biggest goal is to ace my MCAT for the next medical school entering class (2010) application.

Spring Break…

Friday, March 6th, 2009

Well exam day was tough with two complicated exams on the same day back-to-back. No clue on how I did on them – it will surely be a surprise when I do get the grades back, they’re supposed to be delivered over the break – not sure how that will happen. I’m glad I am passed that day and life is moving on. :-)

We had tickets to Robin Williams concert tonight – unfortunately he fell ill and now is in a hospital awaiting aortic valve replacement surgery. We along with everyone else – wish his a successful surgery and a speedy recovery, I’m sure he’d rather be performing that having surgery performed on him. I wonder what it must be like for the surgeon who is faced with the responsibility of helping someone like him of his stature in society – it’s got to compound the normal pressures.

Well back to work (as usual).
