Well the fall semester of UCF has just begun and I am excited to challenge it and win. I can’t say that this is my first semester here because I was enrolled and took a summer semester course. Settling in at a new home is a time-consuming process that makes for a huge expense as well. The good part is I won’t have to purchase many of these items on a weekly basis as I only have need for one microwave oven, etc.

It’s hard to believe where my life has gone - my youngest - my “baby” is turning 21 today! One thing children do is date you (and help age you, just kidding!) Years of my life have flown on by, it’s amazing - I remember as a youngster wondering what it would be like to be 40 - thinking it was an eternity to get there - well it hasn’t been an eternity and here I am faster than expected too!

I went to my RTV course yesterday on campus and found it to be extremely interesting - way more interesting than I imagined it would be too. To most of us that are viewers of broadcasting it seems like no big deal, but truly behind the scenes and what it took to get to where we are today are a huge deal and it’s very fascinating learning about it, I think this is going to be one very interesting & enjoyable course.

I have some books that I purchased online stuck in my mailbox and I am awaiting the mail carrier to rescue them by bringing me a key. The landlord never mentioned we needed to go to the post office to get the key - we never thought of it till my books were stuck in there, and apparently this is not a quick process. The pains of changing environments!

Back to school work I’ve got LOTS to do…

Well luckily we fared well through the storm! I see the storm is heading back on Northern Florida now… one thing’s for sure this storm should help any draught situations that might be out there - because it sure brought a lot of rain with it.

Next week school starts again - I’ve got to get back into the swing of things - ordered my books today - wow are they expensive - sheesh - tuition is nothing compared to the price of books. (I want to author textbooks for college - I think those people must be gazillionaires!) I’m also going to be doing research this next semester on UCF campus as well - this is going to be one fun and interesting school year, and when it ends I’ll know what medical school I’ll be matriculating into as well

Well for my birthday this weekend I sent in my AMCAS (medical school application)… Wish me luck!!

Today was my MCAT and I am done, no clue how I did and I won’t have results for a month… One thing I know is I did my best I could at the time, I pray it was good enough!

Well I just completed my U.S. Healthcare and Mass Communications Law classes over the summer and got A’s in both!!! Wooohoo!

Now I have to slay my MCAT on Tuesday!!

I’m pretty happy !!! Getting my grades was Awesome!!!
