Philosophy Final Grade

Friday, July 27th, 2007

Well I just saw my final grade in Philosophy is 99.1%!!! That certainly makes me feel better since I got a B in Trigonometry. I was kind of bummed out – I know how many people would kill for a B in summer session trig class – but still – oh well – it will most certainly be my last off grade if I have any say in the matter! In the meantime I’m going to celebrate my 99.1% grade I just got in Philosophy – I’m pretty darn happy about it! :-)

Summer…

Thursday, July 19th, 2007

Well my course for the second part of summer is winding down to the end… looks like I will get an “A” in Philosophy, I’m pretty confident I will. I found that the one course I was unable to take over the summer because I wasn’t at home – I will be able to take this fall – so I am trying to get into that course now, POS1041 – American Government – since I already own the textbook for it – and we all know books are pricey! I started to read a physics book over the summer and it is fun and interesting… yeah I think science is my definite true calling… I really enjoy the stuff a lot. I had to use it a lot too in Philosophy class discussion online because of that old heated debated ‘Darwinsim vs. Creationism’ – boy did I have fun :-)

Happy 4th of July!!!

Philosophy 2010

Wednesday, July 4th, 2007

Well this is the first time I’ve gotten 100% on an exam. We had an essay exam, which equated to our midterm (worth 25% of my grade). It was to be no real word count, however we had to select 4 out of 6 given questions to properly answer. I spent all week on it and wound up with 15 pages, 3756 words and got 100% – Can’t do better than 100%! Sure put a smile on my face! So far I’ve gotten all my points for the discussions and on the quizzes I lost 3 points (got 9 out of 10 correct on 3 quizzes, BUT I also got 10 out of 10 on 2 of them too!) I have a fairly intense research paper left (worth 20% of my grade) and a final essay exam (worth 25% of my grade). I suspect I will be getting an “A” in Philosophy soon. I had to drop out of the American Government course – as it wasn’t fully online delivery – no clue how they can advertise it as online when you must go to their testing center to take 5 exams for your grade – grrrr. I was upset, I’m now over it. Gives me more time to read my physics book I bought – kewl book! Learning is such fun!!
