Another Biology Test!!
Thursday, March 29th, 2007Well I won’t be too critical of myself - considering for some reason in the last 2 nights I haven’t even gotten 1 good night’s sleep
The good news is I am still on target for my “A” in Biology!! ![]()

Well I’m still in line for my “A” in Algebra - YEAH! Trig over the summer here I come
Woo hoo!
Had an awesome Biology class this morning - then got to take test 4 for Sociology (confident I did well!) and had a very interesting, insightful Biology lab to finish off the day. Found out that at embryonic stages we’re all pretty similar - viewing slides of pigs & chicks at the earliest of stages - it’s virtually impossible to tell them apart under the microscope - very neat to see indeed!
I thought it would have been way more difficult to go back to school than it has been. The biggest obstacle in life that I thought would’ve prevented me from attaining my achievements was algebra. In my mind there was no way I could ever learn it. Whenever I was asked “why don’t you go back to school?” My first response was always “algebra” that will stop my progression. Being cajoled by those that love me I wound up getting a Learn Algebra in 20 Minutes A Day book that really made the difference! In 2 weeks time I was able to learn enough algebra to pass my college placement test and get into College Algebra! I was amazed how well it worked for me - I owe my success to that book for sure! Once I decided to go back to school for medicine it was amazing how neatly everything went together and here I am - on my way!
Roses can be quite thorny for sure
Violets are flowers that are very pretty
Thank goodness this class isn’t a bore
It’s full of people that are cunning and witty
I thought this web course might be a chore
But I feel like I am doing great for an old bitty
The end of the work I’ll go till there’s no more
When it’s done I might say, oh what a pity!
The course we studied did have such a lure
It took literature down to the nitty-gritty
I worked so much that my fingers are sore
However since I’m done I get to go pet my big kitty.
Here I plan to blog all about my college experience as a non-traditional student. Come enjoy the ride with me…
